Principal Software Engineer - Real Time Speech
Job Description:
As a Principal Software Engineer in our Audio Processing team, you will be pivotal in enhancing the robustness of our real-time speech system. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and optimize algorithms for processing voice data, ensuring clear and accurate voice recognition under various conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced audio processing algorithms for real-time voice data analysis.
- Optimize existing voice processing systems to improve speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio processing techniques into our speech recognition systems.
- Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest developments in audio processing and machine learning.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in best practices for audio processing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on audio processing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- In-depth knowledge of digital signal processing techniques and real-time audio processing.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application in voice or audio processing.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with speech recognition technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Publications or contributions to open-source projects in the field of audio processing or machine learning.
