About The Role:

As a frontend engineer, you will design and build the UI/UX of Pinecone end-to-end. you will build web applications with a delightful, intuitive and frictionless user experience, for ML engineers and data scientists. Example projects include an interactive console with metrics, dashboards, and API integrations. Responsibilities will include creating user journeys and designs for data intensive applications, and implementing said designs. 

You will work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment that demands the highest quality work with minimal supervision. 

What we look for:

• 2 years of frontend web development; designing website architecture & user interactions on web pages
• Strong proficiency in React, or at least Angular
• Experience with Material Design, Responsive Web Design, and related frameworks
• Experience creating functional mockups and user journey maps
• Proficiency in NodeJS
• Experience designing RESTful APIs
• Sound fundamentals of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP or Azure

Bonus points for experience with:

• User management and security
• Billing console
• Data intensive applications
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Rust; and familiarity with web servers and databases
