About this role:
We are looking for a driven Technical Sourcer to play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and recruiting the best AI and ML talent in the industry. You will be instrumental to our talent acquisition strategy, using your resourcefulness and independence to find innovative ways to attract top candidates. This position requires a team player who can collaborate effectively with hiring managers and dynamic recruiters to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
We are a 140 employee startup with an in-office collaborative culture. Our recruiting team is small, talented, and mighty so this Contract Sourcer must excel in a past-paced environment with autonomy, accountability, and agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Identification: Proactively source and identify top AI and ML talent using various channels, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and industry eventsCandidate Engagement: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates through effective communication and relationship-building techniquesCollaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to understand specific job requirements, team dynamics, and long-term hiring needsMarket Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies to continually refine sourcing strategiesDiversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives by implementing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidatesReporting: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, pipeline status, and sourcing metrics to provide regular updates to the Talent Acquisition team Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent1+ years of experience in recruiting, hr, or sales1+ years of sourcing experience, in-house or agencyDeep understanding of recent market and tech trends, preferably in the AI and ML domainsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade candidatesHighly resourceful, independent, and self-motivated with a track record of successfully identifying and attracting top talentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for contributing to a positive team cultureA growth mindset and truly flexible, you can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances changeStrong analytical skills - you'll build a system to track sourcing metrics and draw actionable insightsAn active and data driven approach to problem solvingAn enjoyment of making sense of the trends and using the insights to improve your process and make it more efficientFearless in trying new things and embracing new ideas What's in it for you?
