Software Engineer, Data Platform

We are hiring a foundational engineering team in Bengaluru and looking for incredible engineers to build critical Moveworks projects. 

We seek an experienced Backend/Platform Engineer to join our team and build an interactive data product. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new features for our proprietary data visualization and analytics framework. They will also manage data processing and ensure data accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate is passionate about building data-driven applications and has experience working with large datasets and high-throughput systems.

What you will do

• Design and develop new features for our proprietary data visualization and analytics framework that powers native data products on the Moveworks stack.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of new features and bug fixes.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues
• Optimize data processing pipelines to support large datasets and high-throughput systems

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering and data processing
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go Lang
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
• Knowledge of PySpark, DataLake, Hudi, etc. is a plus but not necessary
  
  

Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
