Senior Product Manager III (GenAI)

Overview:

We are searching for a Senior Product Manager who will play a critical role in driving the development of our cutting-edge Generative AI features based on Large Language Models. These features will empower Bot Builders to easily build and deploy LLM powered automations and will enable our conversational systems to automatically understand and respond to user needs with robust safety and optimization guardrails. 

 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Product Roadmap Management: Design product roadmaps that align with customer needs and LivePerson business objectives, providing strategic direction for product development.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Steer engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams throughout the product life cycle, ensuring alignment with the product vision and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Assess market and competitive conditions, formulating a distinctive product vision that delivers unique value, guided by customer needs.
  • Product Feedback Management: Systematically collect, analyze, and prioritize product feedback and feature requests from customers and internal stakeholders to continually refine our product offerings.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product performance, engagement, and adoption, utilizing data insights to drive product decisions.
  • Communication & Documentation: Craft comprehensive product documentation and workflows to promote clear communication and coordination of product objectives and requirements across business, design, and development teams.
  • Go-To-Market Support: Act as a vital contributor to our go-to-market strategies, supporting marketing, sales, and product launch activities. Represent the product's value proposition at industry events and customer interactions, enhancing LivePerson's presence in the field.
  • Innovation & Research: Participate in R&D initiatives that advance new concepts, ensuring our product features remain on the cutting edge of the rapidly evolving landscape while encouraging bold ideas and enthusiasm.

    • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to clearly and persuasively articulate ideas.
    • Technical Proficiency: A strong grasp of technical concepts, enabling you to understand and discuss architectural frameworks.
    • Quantitative Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis; our data-driven company relies on accurate measurement to inform our decisions.
    • Software Engineering Practices: Familiarity with professional software engineering practices and experience in implementing best practices for the full software development life cycle.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, influencing and aligning others towards common objectives.
    • Decision-Making: A proven track record of making well-reasoned decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Educational Background: BA/B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
    • Experience: 5+  years of experience in Technical Product Management.
    • AI Experience: Prior experience with conversational AI or Large Language Models would be a considerable plus.
    • Bot Building Experience: Prior experience with Conversational AI and Bot  building platforms is a plus.

 

Benefits: 

The salary range for this role will be between $160,000 to $ 190,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, your location, and your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. During the phone screening, the recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
