Test and Quality Engineer

Axelera AI is seeking a highly skilled Test and Quality Engineer to ensure the testing, validation, and certification of our boards and system products. The Test and Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of reliability and quality in our AI products. This role demands a deep understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance, and a commitment to delivering top-tier products.

 

Your role will mainly include the following:

 

·      Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for our boards and system products, ensuring that all aspects of the product's functionality, performance, and compliance are thoroughly tested.

·      Test Execution: Conduct rigorous testing, including functional, performance, stress, and certification testing, using a variety of testing equipment and tools.

·      Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in product quality and reliability.

·      Defect Identification: Identify and document defects, track issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.

·      Certification: Oversee product certification processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

·      Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test plans, procedures, and results. Generate reports on product performance and quality.

·      Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.

·      Collaboration: Collaborate with design and development teams to provide early feedback and contribute to the improvement of product design for testability and quality.

·      Compliance: Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices, ensuring that Axelera AI's products meet or exceed all applicable requirements.

·      Training: Provide training and guidance to team members and colleagues on testing and quality assurance best practices.

·      Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

·      5-10 years proven experience in test engineering, quality assurance, and product testing, preferably in the AI or technology sector.

·      Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and equipment.

·      Experience with industry standards and certification processes.

·      Familiar with Unix OS (Ubuntu/Debian/Yocto) and bash scripting

·      Knowledge of programming languages like Python is a plus.[MG1] 

·      Proficiency in using testing and measurement equipment.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·      Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·      Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

·      Good communication and presentation skills

·      Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing

·      You are able to work autonomously and plan and perform research tasks.
