Lead, Quality Engineering & Compliance

FutureFit AI is looking for a Lead for our Quality Engineering and Compliance function. At FutureFit AI we have a culture of high trust, high impact, high velocity and a gritty determination to win. About You: 

• Test Automation - You have developed and lead test automation initiatives  of responsive, consumer facing single page web applications across unit, API and UI level tests
• Technologies - You have experience with modern testing technologies such as; postman, cypress, selenium, percy, jmeter, etc
• Mindset - You are naturally curious, spot details that others miss and have a ‘trust but always verify’ approach
• Reporting - You are data driven and excel at creating and organizing data for reporting and monitoring 
• Work Item Management - You are a JIRA expert and ensure the SDLC runs smoothly through sprint ceremonies
• CI/CD - You are a firm believer in the processes and test automation to achieve continuous delivery with confidence, quality and zero downtime
• Compliance - You can create lean policies/processes that protect the company, help the team work faster and ensure effective monitoring for compliance reporting 
• People - You are a people person and comfortable leading both projects and people
• Communication - You are a great communicator and can confidently engage in both technical and business conversations
• Grit - You like to solve challenging problems, are not afraid of the unknown, eager to learn and take a systematic approach to solving problems
• AI - You are interested in integrating advances in AI into FutureFit AI products and the development process to drive improvements in velocity, quality and engineer experience

Location: 

Most days we work from home but everyone comes to the office at least once a week for face to face collaboration and team building. The office is located in Toronto  at 325 Front St West (a short walk from Union Station).

Customers: We partner with workforce development agencies, government agencies, and employers/enterprises.

Structure: We are organized around the following key departments: Growth, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Data, People & Culture, Finance & Operations.

Team: We are a team of 30-50 across US and Canada with main hubs in New York and Toronto. This role will be based in Toronto.
