About the Role:
Our Global Public Sector (GPS) Team works directly in quantum sensing, post-quantum cryptography, and quantum simulation and optimization to address bleeding edge problems for U.S. and International government agencies. In this role you will be accountable to the President of the GPS and the CEO for growth across GPS, and you will be responsible for the development of strategies and methods designed to achieve profitable growth acceleration across the Global Public Sector.
You will lead a team that is building and managing the GPS pipeline of opportunities and the conversion of those opportunities into secure, permanent revenue streams for the company. You take full accountability for GPS agreed upon sales quotas and their achievement by each sales team member and the sales team as a whole. You will collaborate across the company to support all products and sales channels. You will be responsible for both Business Development and Capture and manage the leaders of those entities. You will act as an interface with customers and industry partners across the U.S. and International markets including those aligned with advanced technical, cyber, and healthcare market strategy.

Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the GPS growth team which includes Business Development and Capture Management to maintain and mature current business relationships, grow the opportunity pipeline, support capture efforts, and grow contract orders and product revenue.
- Developing a clear and actionable growth strategy for key verticals. This will include guidance for market segment strategic planning, leadership for individual pursuit strategies, and providing foundations for other groups to develop other corporate strategies.
- Provide support to federal conferences / trade shows by acting as the lead for key partner engagement on behalf of corporate business development, corporate strategic development, technology, and others, as required.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in the U.S. Government market, including but not limited to DoD, IC, FedCiv or related industry community.
- US Citizenship is required due to USG contract requirements.
- Secret to Top Secret security clearance.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Government Sales or Business Development
- Knowledge and experience in the federal acquisition process.
- Established and successful reputation in the U.S. federal market.
- Experience in a product company and understand enterprise-level sales.
- Worked in a startup or a company that has hyperscaled
- Open to travel 30-50% time depending on pursuit strategy and customer needs.
