Co-Founder / Head of Machine Learning

We are looking for a co-founder with extensive experience in machine learning and/or data science, who is passionate about generative AI and is passionate about building their own startup.

About Cultway

Every day, people spend countless hours making slides. We’re changing that. Our company is creating next-level business software that lets users quickly make top-notch slides with the help of artificial intelligence.

We’re building a web-based software that turns plain text into engaging presentations in a matter of seconds. At the core of Cultway, we’re using the latest AI tech out there and are currently working on fine-tuning our own model.

Tasks

• Fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for core tasks of our product, including preparing the relevant data and training and testing the models.
• Working closely with our development team to deploy new models and building our cloud infrastructure to ensure solid product performance.
• Establishing an MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) infrastructure to continually refine AI models using customer data.
• Picking up the latest trends and technologies in generative AI to be able to actively participate in the creative development of our product strategy.
• Building our team of AI experts and data engineers and taking over the product management for our algorithms.

Requirements

• Based in Germany, preferably Berlin, with a valid work authorization.
• A strong passion desire for founding your own company.
• Degree from a university with a specialization in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Machine Learning
• 2-3 years of full-time professional experience, which could include founding a startup or being employed in a startup or a global tech firm
• A self-driven work style, coupled with the resilience to thrive in fast-paced environments and navigate ambiguous situations.
• Proficient in English or German.
