Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our AI department. In this role, you will build a data platform to facilitate efficient image data analysis and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Python, image processing, and unstructured data management.
About the Team:
Our AI team stands at the cutting-edge intersection of AI and deep learning applications. Our flagship product, the eKYC application, is a testament to our commitment to excellence. This application encompasses features like document verification — inclusive of image quality assurance and OCR — and sophisticated biometric verification methods such as face recognition and liveness detection. With a daily influx of over 2 million queries, we are stewards of an immense data trove, enabling us to perpetually innovate and evolve.
Key Responsibilities:

Offline Data Management: Construct efficient, primarily image-based, data pipelines to facilitate speedy, data-driven product model iterations. Implement measures to manage PII data in accordance with compliance requirements.

Online/Product Data Stewardship: Spearhead the design and deployment of a data platform that monitors online service metrics. Moreover, architect a data feedback loop to facilitate the "human in the loop" process, which is instrumental in streamlining online learning and subsequent model iteration.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate cohesively with product and algorithm teams to optimize data flow solutions, ensuring maximal, effective utilization of data across all product paradigms.

Team Growth & Development: Lead junior team members with mentorship and guidance, fostering an environment that celebrates continuous learning and relentless enhancement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Extensive experience with data platform and data pipeline architecture
Proficiency in Python
Experience in working with image data and familiarity with image processing techniques
Solid understanding of managing and organizing unstructured data
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities
