Threat Data Analysis Center - Analyst (6-month contracted night shift, 40 hours a week with possible extension or conversion to full-time employment)

• Respond to all forms of communication, including but not limited to phone, email, text, radio, Slack, etc.
• Analyze raw and processed security event data to identify potential security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external teams at the facility to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor and respond to notifications and alarms from all sources in a timely manner.
• Interface with and, at times, manage others in a highly professional setting.
• Report issues or events using appropriate communication tools.
• Handle security/emergency or other critical operations appropriately, escalating events to supervisors for further action.
• Research threats, establish responses, and develop best practices for site-specific operations.
• Document and report incidents or issues related to security and safety, among others.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to assist in data collection and product testing.
• Establish efficient workflows and practices for new tools based on evolving needs and capabilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Local internet connection is capable of >50Mbps (Up to $50 USD per month will be reimbursed while working from home to ensure adequate internet access).
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week.
• Shifts will be between 7:00 PM IST to 7:00 AM IST (not exceeding 8 hours per day, two paid 15-minute breaks excluding a 30-minute meal period 8.5-hour shifts).
• Shifts will either be Thursday night to Monday morning or Friday night to Tuesday morning (weekend work is a requirement subject to change).
• Must have a laptop and external monitor meeting the following requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or Linux Ubuntu 22.04.1 (Please specify your preference or intended use).
• Microprocessor: Intel® Core™ i5-7200U 2.0 GHz base frequency or equivalent AMD processor.
• Memory: 8 GB DDR4-2133 (RAM).
• Video graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 620 or equivalent AMD graphics.
• Hard drive: 1.5 TB total storage.
• Wireless connectivity: 802.11b/g/n (1x1) Wi-Fi.

O/S Mac:

• Operating System: Ventura 13.4.
• Laptop Model: Capable of running Ventura 13.4.
• Wireless connectivity: 802.11b/g/n (1x1) Wi-Fi.

Additional Computer Requirements:

• External Monitor: Must have an external monitor with a screen size greater than 19 inches (approximately 48.26 cm) that is compatible with your laptop.
