Director of Logistics and Supply Chain (M/F/D)

As Director of Logistics and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading the logistics and supply chain operations of Axelera AI. You will be responsible for implementing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing, procurement, production and distribution of our products, including chips, computing systems, and AI acceleration cards, boards, and vision-ready systems.

- Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall objectives

- Identify and select logistics and supply chain partners, including manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics providers

- Work close to product managment  and program management offices 

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and logistics providers

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production, sourcing and distribution of products

- Implement and maintain inventory management systems

- Monitor and analyze logistics and supply chain metrics to identify and address areas for improvement

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws

- Manage logistics and supply chain budgets and expenses

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and make recommendations for improvements

 

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field

- 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and best practices

- Experience with procurement, inventory management, and logistics

- Proven track record of managing and developing logistics and supply chain teams

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions

- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations

- Experience with Asian manufacturers is a must

- Experience in the tech industry is a must
