Application Developer Instructor

C3 AI is hiring Application Developer Instructors. Application Developer Instructors are responsible for researching, preparing, conducting, and evaluating our education programs. As a member of the larger Developer Experience Group, you will be responsible for developing new skills for application developers and engineers. You will collaborate closely with our Instructional Design team to create innovative learning experiences – this is a long way from lectures and quizzes! Our AI platform is deeply technical, and the successful candidate will be someone who loves to dive in and learn new technologies and applications. We have a lot of fun helping people be successful!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver workshops in a variety of modalities – asynchronous, online, and in person.
• Assess the training needs of learners and adjust your delivery accordingly.
• Curate content from a variety of sources to augment our own content.
• Collaborate closely with our Instructional Designers.
• Maintain a high level of engagement with learners.
• Stay up to date on new innovations in training and technology.
• Become a trusted partner in success to Customers and Partners.
• Mentor new team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proven experience as a facilitator, speaker, or coach.
• Great empathy skills.
• Strong communicator.
• Ability to read and edit code examples and debug code exercises.
• Working knowledge of the following:
  • Application development (JavaScript, JSON, DSL)
  • Web user interface development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Relational (SQL) or Non-Relational (Key-Value) Databases
  • Extract, Transformation, & Load (ETL) techniques
• A passion for learning new technologies.
