Front-End Engineer - UI Component Library (Early Professional)

We are hiring Early Professional - Front-End Engineers to contribute and maintain the UI component library of the C3 AI Platform. Our UI component library allows our customers to rapidly deliver data-rich AI applications and scale them to handle TBs of data, and we want to take it to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the component library.
- Maintain an ever-growing library of components to be used across different applications and industries.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Eager to learn and grow as a developer. Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner, with the capacity to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and PMs to implement UI components that meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript.
- Basic understanding of design systems and UI/UX principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience designing and implementing reusable UI components.
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional team of PM, UX, and Engineering.
- Prior experience developing a UI component library or design system for other engineers.
- Proven experience with pixel-perfect execution of UI components.
- Working knowledge of accessibility best practices.
- Ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
