The Senior Strategy Manager, Federal drives the development and delivery of our go-to-market strategy, with a focus on delivering strategic growth through industry relationships, team development, transformational strategy, and processes across C3 AI’s federal government business. The primary objective is accelerating growth in greenfield accounts and unlocking new sales opportunities. As part of the Strategy team, you will also drive other growth initiatives, including crafting proposals, delivering business insights through research and analysis, and creating executive-level presentations and value models for industry-specific use cases. This role requires a learning mindset, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
This is a highly visible role with several executive stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to manage multiple workstreams, proven organizational skills, high attention to detail, and superior time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Product Support: Develop materials for sales presentations, demos, and negotiations, ensuring clear communication of commercial and technical details.
- Executive Engagement: Identify and craft business cases and articulate the value proposition for potential customers in early sales cycles.
- Market Research & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities, synthesizing insights to inform company, product, and go-to-market strategies.
- Operational Support: Contribute to business development efforts, structure partnership strategies, and analyze internal KPIs for strategic planning and forecasting.
- Team Growth: Support the Strategy team’s development by enhancing processes and assisting in recruiting and mentoring new team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); MBA from a top-tier school (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or related fields.
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects involving cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing executive-ready documents.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise technology, with familiarity in AI/ML concepts or software platforms, and demonstrated passion for continuous learning.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams (e.g., Sales, Solutions, Product, and Engineering) and executives.
- Significant experience with federal government procurement processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Experience with and understanding of AI and Machine Learning.
