Technical Curriculum Developer

C3 AI is hiring a passionate and innovative Technical Curriculum Developer to design and develop technical courses that help our customers succeed in building advanced AI applications using the C3 AI Platform.

As a Curriculum Engineer, you will create and maintain technical learning content and curricula for application software developers, solution architects, and data scientists, enabling them to quickly onboard and confidently complete their tasks. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, data scientists, and customers to design and deliver world-class training content.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging learning experiences that develop real world skills.
• Identify learning objectives for specific competencies, and then develop hands-on exercises to achieve them.
• Work with product management and services teams to help build comprehensive learning journeys for customers and partners.
• Evaluate new approaches and innovations in instructional design.
• Ensure our training content is consistent, up-to-date and aligns with our product goals and organizational initiatives.
• Ensure success and effectiveness of training programs by assessing customer feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, engineering or related fields.
• 2+ years of proven experience developing technical and educational content for both virtual and in-person training.
• Competency in speaking and engaging with a very technical group of subject matter experts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Ability to articulate the cognitive and instructional principles behind your work and your approach to the content you create.
• Competency to explain the specific advantages of using different types of media.
• Experience using content generation tools (Articulate Rise360, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
• Effectively communicate so that the information you produce is accessible and understandable to a wide variety of audiences.
• Demonstrated knowledge of any of the following is a strong plus:
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Application development (JavaScript, JSON, DSL)
  • Web user interface development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Relational (SQL) or Non-Relational (Key-Value) Databases
  • Extract, Transformation, & Load (ETL) techniques
  • Machine learning concepts (linear regression, PCA, decision trees, k-means clustering)
