About The Role:
As a Data Analyst on the People Analytics team, you’ll play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across our HR and People functions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and interpret employee data, providing insights that support key initiatives like performance management, employee engagement, and retention. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to create actionable reports, develop dashboards, and identify trends that inform strategic business decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You'll be at the forefront of transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making across the People function. You’ll work closely with HR and People Operations to analyze employee data, develop dashboards, and create reports that track key metrics such as retention, engagement, and performance. Your work will provide the foundation for data-driven initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and business outcomes.
You'll dig into large datasets to identify patterns and trends, providing actionable insights that support workforce planning, organizational design, and performance management. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data collection methods and ensure that the data you’re working with is accurate, reliable, and aligned with our business needs.
Beyond reporting, you’ll be instrumental in optimizing our people analytics framework, helping to ensure that the systems and processes in place are scalable and adaptable as the company grows. Additionally, you’ll play a critical role in cross-functional projects, providing robust analysis that supports initiatives like diversity efforts, talent acquisition, and employee development. Whether you're delivering insights on attrition or presenting data on team performance, your work will help inform strategic decisions and operational improvements across the company.
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within HR, People Analytics, or a similar field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Mode).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with HR metrics and understanding of HR processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Previous experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR).
- Understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
