What you’ll be doing:
If you’re an experienced, customer-obsessed PMM who is ready to embrace a rapidly developing product marketing function, this role is for you.
Cleo’s product marketing team represents the voice of the customer within our product development process and communicates the value of our products back to consumers. We focus on driving product adoption, engagement, and user delight. Cleo’s products have evolved and diversified quickly - and now both product and marketing teams can’t wait to embrace the value of a high-performing PMM.
This is an IC role, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing. The ideal candidate is based in London and willing to spend some time in our Shoreditch office. As Cleo’s market is the US, experience of the American market is required.
As our Product Marketing Manager (PMM) - Card you will:
- Lead product-specific go-to-market: Develop, evolve, and own the GTM strategy for our Card features, inclusive of:
- Product messaging and positioning
- Pricing and packaging of both existing and new features
- Influencing, synthesizing information, and driving consistency in GTM across functions (product management, product design, marketing design, commercial, user research, and more)
- Be the voice of our customer:
- Deeply understand how and why current and [most importantly] new users might engage with our card product and adjacent features identify unarticulated needs, and collaborate with user research, analytics, and product to develop and execute inbound/understand roadmaps - inclusive of market testing, whitespace analysis, gaps analysis, and innovation opportunities
- Support in building and implementing audience segmentation strategies relevant to the FinTech ecosystem
- Own competitive intelligence: Identify and analyze competitive card offerings and deliver relevant updates to product and marketing teams
- Iterate with Data: Synthesize inputs, both qualitative and quantitative, across product, growth, marketing, user research, and the wider industry
- Communicate & Influence: Proactively update both product squads and marketing teams on product developments, roadmaps, testing (both in-app and in external marketing), messaging, positioning, and more
- Drive product growth: Support product feature campaigns for existing product updates, working closely with CRM and performance marketing teams to deliver successfully
- Produce content: Develop product-based content (tutorials, demonstrations, videos, “how to” guides, case studies) in partnership with our creative studio, product, and engineering teams
- Drive impact: Measure success by tracking relevant metrics and KPIs
- Internal and external product expert: Develop and be able to simply communicate a deep understanding of the card’s capabilities
About you
- 4+ years of relevant experience in product marketing with proven track record of executing in high-growth and fast-paced environments
- Experience in the US market is a must
- Embody a customer-obsessed mindset

- Experience building highly impactful and commercially viable new products (0→1)
- Technical knowledge of financial products or the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to engage and work with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment between Marketing, Product and Engineering teams
- Superb project management and presentation skills
- Embraces teamwork, with a track record of successful collaborative projects across functions
- Proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy
- Experience in B2C product marketing is required
- Experience in FinTech is of interest, but not required.
