About the Role

At Cognition, customers are our highest priority. As a GTM engineer, you will be closer to customer needs than anyone else on the team, working directly with customers throughout the technical implementation lifecycle—from pre-sales through implementation to success. You will work closely with product and engineering to relay critical customer feedback and help implement the highest priority customer requests. This role offers a unique opportunity to have a major impact on the direction of one of the fastest-growing AI startups.

In this role, you will:

  • Own all technical aspects of the customer lifecycle—from scoping during the pre-sales process through activation, making sure our customers are successful using Devin
  • Work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges and identify the best use cases for Devin to be a productive contributor
  • Build deep relationships with our customers’ engineering teams to ensure smooth product integration and adoption, activating top users and driving product utilization
  • Identify new teams and potential use cases that Devin can contribute to within an active customer’s tech organization
  • Build! Always listen to customer feedback, have a bias towards implementing requested features yourself, and advocate for the customers’ needs with the rest of the team.

Requirements for the role:

  • Demonstrate a track record of success building or selling deeply technical products
  • You’re a natural relationship-builder, an excellent communicator and feel comfortable talking about complex technical topics with customers in all roles and levels
  • You have technical experience either as a software engineer, sales engineer or deployed engineer
  • Thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments — you’re willing to move fast and quickly grow in scope and responsibility
  • You have a demonstrated exceptional ability to learn
