We’re hiring Team Leads for our Finance, Hardware, and General tracks. Team Leads are responsible for day-to-day data delivery in each track. As a Data Team Lead at Contextual, you will:

  • Plan, direct, and give feedback on the work of annotators and quality control specialists.
  • Label and quality control data, where needed.
  • Track work and progress against deadlines. 
  • Give feedback on and update instructions, and other supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with the delivery manager, senior copyeditor, head of data, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with vendors, planning work and giving them guidance and feedback. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize and streamline our processes.
  • Support with onboarding new team members.

You might be a good fit if you are:

  • Experienced in labelling data, with a solid understanding of how data is used in AI.
  • Excellent at writing, proof-reading, and critical reasoning. 
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment and skilled at meeting tight deadlines.
  • Good at solving problems and showing ownership.
  • Good at planning. 
  • Detail-oriented.

Location: Remote. You must be available to work in the UK or EST timezones. This is a flexible hourly-paid contract.
