Product Engineer

Job Overview

As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven products and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of AI projects, from concept to deployment. Your expertise in AI algorithms, software engineering, and product development will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering value to our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Implement state-of-the-art AI algorithms and techniques to solve complex problems.
• Lead the development of AI-powered products and features, from ideation to production deployment.
• Deploy AI models into production environments and integrate them into existing systems and workflows.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure ongoing performance.
• Continuously improve AI algorithms and models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create documentation for AI models, code, and processes.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior AI engineers and team members.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and help drive technical excellence within the team.

What we’re seeking:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
• Proven experience in AI model development, with a strong portfolio of successful AI projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI domains.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization for model deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Location: Mountain View, CA

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $140,000 - $300,000 + equity + benefits (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
