Sales Operations & Strategy Manager
As a Sales Operations & Strategy Manager at Contextual AI, you will play a key role in defining and executing sales processes to drive our next phase of growth. In this role, you will help identify opportunities for revenue growth and sales effectiveness, execute on strategies to close deals and deliver value to our customers, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
This role offers the chance to make an immediate and significant impact for a fast-growing Series AI AI start-up. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver and strong analytical thinker with previous strategic and operational experience with AI and LLM technologies.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the broader GTM team to drive growth for our sales team by proactively identifying roadblocks and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Product and Engineering stakeholders to drive customer deliverables to completion, such as sales meetings, business reviews, and commercial discussions
- Develop and maintain operational processes to support the day-to-day processes of our sales team, including CRM management and expanding our tech stack
- Generate critical insights into sales performance for investors, board meetings, and broader company visibility (e.g., revenue forecasts, pipeline and opportunity management, performance reporting)
- Create and manage sales assets designed to scale with our business, such as competitive frameworks, technical deep-dives, and pricing models
- Set short-term and long-term go-to-market priorities by analyzing customer segments, synthesizing feedback from prospects, and prioritizing target accounts and sectors
- Serve as a thought partner on GenAI use cases and go-to-market storylines for key customer accounts and strategic verticals
- Proactively generate quantitative analytics and qualitative insights on how to improve sales and revenue operations
What we’re seeking:
- 3-5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting or a similar role (previous experience at a high-growth technology start-up preferred)
- Experience driving go-to-market strategy and activities for products with AI/ML capabilities
- Strong analytical / modeling skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
Location: Mountain View, CA
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $140,000 - $190,000 + equity and benefits (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
