RVP Partners, Americas

Dataiku is hiring for a Partnership Leader for the  Americas region (includes US, Canada, Latam) -  to oversee the development of our ecosystem with today’s leading technology, system integrator, and channel partners including: Snowflake, Databricks, Nvidia,  AWS, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, Accenture, Slalom, and many others. This is a leadership role with a key charter to drive engagement with partners across our entire GTM model, in collaboration with functional owners in marketing, business development, sales, global services, customer success, and other areas.  You are the owner of the partner metrics aligned to the NAmer theater. 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Execute the partner plan for all regions across Americas, inclusive of all partner types and partner routes to market. 
  • Lead a team of partner go-to-market field professionals to drive partner engagement in customer accounts and build a pipeline of sales opportunities involving partners across the region
  • Ensure the development of sales and technical skills within the partner ecosystem to drive demand and customer success
  • Oversee the development and delivery of joint marketing campaigns and field engagement with partners and Dataiku field teams
  • Coordinate the development of industry (Ex. Retail) and departmental (Ex. Office of Finance) solutions with partners aligned with their areas of expertise and develop sales plays to apply these solutions in joint sales motions
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders across the business in Sales, Marketing, Global Services, Customer Success and Product.
  • Build executive relationships with the leadership of key partners across the region and facilitate partner engagement with other members of the Dataiku leadership team.
  • Manage the professional development of the team and provide opportunities for advancement and personal growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Dataiku leadership to scale the ecosystem of partnerships across Americas
  • Represent Dataiku at industry events in a manner that reflects and upholds Dataiku’s core values

This role will report directly to the SVP of Ecosystems and Alliances, with a strong dotted line matrix reporting to the Americas SVP of Sales.  You should be seen as a key leader in both the Global Partner Organization and Americas Field Leadership teams at Dataiku.  The primary goal of this role is to align Dataiku’s platform to integrate with the predominant technology and consulting partnerships that enhance a customers Enterprise AI journey. The chosen candidate will be a business leader, alliance professional, customer outcome driven sales leader, with strong general management capabilities to build, lead, and mentor teams, while managing day-to-day HR/Op’s responsibilities for a team of 12+ people across the region.

Qualifications include:

  • Domain expertise of modern AI / ML and cloud computing technologies.  Be fluent in what’s relevant to the C-Suite today.
  • Connections within our target technology, system integrator and consulting partners, which include:  Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture, and others.  Know their businesses and the people that drive them. 
  • Several years of experience and a track record of building successful partnerships with software, technology / cloud computing, SI, and consulting companies.
  • A collaborative connector and influential leadership style, without ego.  Be able to align interests and get people onto the journey. 
  • Alignment to Dataiku’s core values, which we live.  These include: a belief in diversity and difference of opinion to be an advantage; accountability for your performance and professionalism, and that of the team you lead; a passion for learning and cultivating an environment that rewards curiosity;  being a good person. 
  • Geo located and able to travel to where the action is happening. 
  • Experience leading a mature team of professionals as a business unit with P&L level responsibility. 
  • Ideally you’ve worked at a hypergrowth software company and experienced this stage of 10x growth from $50mil to $500mil. 

Expected Outcomes:

  • Increased pipeline volume & conversion rates for Opportunities sourced & influenced by Dataiku Partners.
  • Increased annual recurring revenue sourced & influenced by Dataiku Partners.
  • Increased outcomes for Dataiku Partners (ex: Services Revenue for SIs & consumption for Clouds & ISVs).
  • Positive feedback from Regional GTM teams regarding impact of Partners on their results.
  • Portfolio of success stories with Partners associated with the Region.

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.
