How you’ll make an impact:

Dataiku’s vision is big:  to enable all people throughout organizations to use data by removing friction around data access, cleaning, modeling, deployment, and more. One of the most unique characteristics of the Dataiku platform is the breadth of its accelerators to deliver all types of data projects more quickly and safely, including a large range of Dataiku Solutions focused on key use-cases across primary targeted industries and business functions. The Dataiku Solutions range is actively managed by Dataiku’s Business Solutions team, with the objective of accelerating AI impact for priority domains by leveraging the full breadth of data and AI opportunities: from descriptive analytics and machine learning to newer techniques such as Generative AI. 

Within Business Solutions (BS), the Solutions Product team is in charge of defining and running all activities to: 

  • Organize the development of Dataiku Solutions in line both with BS specific vision and Dataiku’s overall product strategy. 
  • Manage the smooth release and reinforcement of Dataiku Solutions through an ever-improving delivery process. 

The Solutions Product Operations Manager reports to the Senior Product Manager for the Solutions Range and is a critical counterpart to Solution Leads, Solution Data Scientists, and the Solutions Engineering team. 

Some expected outcomes for this role:

  • Own the operational governance and execution of the Dataiku Solutions Delivery Process: 
    • Reinforce the quality assessment and test framework for Dataiku Solutions to be used in production, as well as drive tests directly as required. 
    • Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules while coordinating a cross-functional team of stakeholders and contributors.
    • Planning release windows and cycles across the full roadmap for Business Solutions
    • Communicating crucial release plans and changes
    • Planning and leading weekly Release Committee meetings

  • Support the Project Management of Solutions throughout their development process to ensure successful delivery and post-release adoption
    • Be involved in and understand the pre-development writing of user stories and alignment on MVPs. 
    • Review technical documentation pertaining to the initial scoping of a Solution to pre-release documentation.
    • Define and track key metrics for the success of Solutions.
    • Be responsible for identifying and integrating relevant new core Product features into our line of AI Accelerators.
    • Continuously run analysis of competitive positioning for individual solutions and the range as a whole

  • Act as a lead Change Agent to advocate for the continuous improvement of the delivery process and QA of Dataiku Solutions
    • Own the Business Solution’s code base of tools for QA and automated release management by identifying bugs and working with full-stack engineers to implement a backlog of features
    • Continuously assess the existing delivery process against the Product Roadmap to ensure its scalability and functionality for the long term
    • Actively contribute to the broader Product Management for Solutions, along themes such as removing friction to access, maximizing discoverability and onboarding, revisiting packaging, …

What you'll need to be successful:

  • University degree focused on Computer Science or a similar discipline—interest in blending a technical background with an operational and business outcome delivery mindset.
  • Minimum 2 years in using project or release management tools
  • Experience with Python, Markdown, and Git
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of orchestrating multiple projects and supporting teams in parallel, with very strong analytical skills and the ability to think in a structural manner. 
  • Deep interest in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and seeing newer technologies like Generative AI deliver value to organizations, ideally two years of professional experience or academic exposure.
  • Very strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. 
  • Great communication skills (both written and oral), able to clearly articulate and present complex situations and concepts. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Open to new ideas and topics. Capable of acting quickly and delivering promptly. 
  • Fluent in English
