Implementation Engineer

We are seeking an Implementation Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Director of Implementation.

The Implementation Engineer is responsible for working with industry leading health care organizations to import their EHR data into our SaaS platform to support Deep 6’s mission of providing an industry-leading search interface to support clinical trial recruitment.

The Deep 6 Implementation Team is responsible for handling various aspects of client onboarding ranging from: data exports/ETL, customer and project management, data verification, working closely with the Deep 6 Engineering team on support and requirements for tools.  

The successful applicant will be responsible for helping the Implementation Team onboard new HCOs and be the primary user of the automated toolset that Deep 6 Engineering is creating. In this capacity, this person will be the helping define requirements and product features to the tools. They will also be responsible for helping coordinate with other members of the Implementation on successful client onboarding.  
 
About You
  • Experience with HL7 and Corepoint configuration required
  • Previous experience in consulting, client engagement or customer facing technical sales or support 
  • Familiarity with the Unix command-line and Git Familiarity with serialization formats for data exchange: JSON, CSV, etc Scripting and or programing
  • Experience and a desire and ability to edit and modify short Java programs or Unix scripts 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities 
  • Experience working with engineering teams to provide feedback, feature requests and bug reports 
  • Fluency in Java or other object-oriented programming language 
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) Experience working with leading EHR systems such as EPIC Knowledge of medicine, genomics, etc.
