Head of Brand

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Brand to join our fast-paced tech startup. As the leader of our brand strategy, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's identity, messaging, and positioning in the market. Your mission will be to drive brand awareness and affinity through innovative strategies and activations. Leading our brand creative, content marketing, and community teams, you will ensure our brand's voice is consistent and compelling across all touchpoints with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of our brand strategy, including brand positioning, identity, and messaging, ensuring alignment with our company's mission and business objectives.
  • Brand Activation: Design and implement innovative brand activation campaigns to build brand awareness and affinity among our target audience. This includes overseeing every aspect of our video marketing, digital marketing, launch campaigns, and event sponsorships.
  • Creative Direction: Provide strategic direction for all brand creative initiatives, including video, website design, digital marketing, and brand assets, ensuring they are on-brand and resonate with our audience.
  • Content Marketing Leadership: Oversee the content marketing strategy, ensuring the production of high-quality content that engages our audience and drives brand loyalty.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the brand creative, content marketing, and community teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product, sales, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in brand marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of successful brand building and 3+ years demonstrated leadership of brand teams.
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative brand strategies and creative concepts.
  • Experience scaling video-native brands.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup or tech environment is highly desirable.

 

The base salary range for this role is $175,000- $218,000. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and location, and they may vary from the amount above.
