QA Architect- Bangalore/ Chennai
As a QA Architect at Findem, you will have the opportunity to support and help launch new features across multiple teams. You will be responsible for developing and documenting strategies for testing, executing the strategies, and implementing automation. This role will also help shape best practices across the company and be an advocate for quality assurance in development. As a QA Architect, you will play a key role in shaping our products from the early stages of development. You will be expected to become a domain expert and work closely with both product and engineering teams. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for ensuring quality to be able to provide clear and concise feedback to our teams.
Here's What You Will Be Doing
Test planning, test design, test development and automationProvide feedback and insight from a Quality Assurance standpoint on new features in developmentTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect countsDrive QA equipements and metricsBug tracking reporting, reviewing and analyzing test results- Ensuring timely detection, prioritization, and resolution of defects, with a focus on impact assessment and early resolutionAutomate testing of our products and help shape our CI/CD pipelinesExcellent communication skills to perform Quality Assurance duties across multiple teamsShould be willing to work in a very fluid startup environment and take complete ownership of quality across both ongoing operations and change initiatives within your assigned business verticalDrive the implementation of test frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and test coverageEstablish and enhance QA processes, standards, and methodologies to meet industry best practices and compliance requirementsContribute to Manual QA team Requirements
2+ years of QA Lead experience. This is an individual contributor role8+ years of QA experienceExperience in implementing a range of test disciplines in a Waterfall and/or agile environmentGood all-round IT Quality Assurance background from preferably a number of industries/domainsExperience in both Waterfall and Agile, BDD, Dev Ops testing methodologiesExperience of working in startups and product companiesExcellent knowledge (ideally hands-on) of both Manual and Automation tooling and frameworksExcellent knowledge of CI/CDExperience in developing metrics to access the performance of the test teamExperience in running UAT exercises with globally dispersed teamsGood understanding of cloud (AWS) technologies and infrastructureThis role is an Individual contributor role based out of our Bangalore/ Chennai office in a Hybrid model
