Why we need you:
Data is the backbone of our product. As a Research Manager at Findem, you will be responsible for the team that ensures our proprietary 3D data is accurate, comprehensive, and formulated to best serve our product/users. We’re looking for a driven individual with a growth mindset, extreme attention to detail, and a positive attitude who can motivate others to perform at their best.
What you'll do
Manage a team of 5-10 research analysts that comprises a shift of our round-the-clock operationsUnderstand the Findem platform, and how data supports our productsCoordinate and perform primary market data research on companies and candidates, using publicly available data sources and our proprietary data platformMaintain data accuracy, completeness and freshness above required standards in Findem platformHire and develop top talentPerform ad hoc reporting and analysisContribute to additional data research activities as appropriateValidate data from vendors to match internal standardsAnalyze results of projects and summarize to allow management to make decisions Constantly identify and act on opportunities to improve team performance, owning the associated change managementDevelop and track metrics to drive team performance and business resultsCommunicate and collaborate with Internal teams (Product, Customer Success, Engineering, etc)Escalate problems or variances in the information and data to the relevant owners and follow through on resolutions Preferred Qualifications
9+ years in Data Research, Data Operations, or related field3+ years of team management experienceExperience in managing critical operational processes with SLA responsibilityExperience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering business process improvementsExpertise in spreadsheets (MS Excel or Google Sheets) including formulae & macrosExperience with databases (querying and analyzing large datasets) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL ManagerA highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual with a positive attitudeOrganized and able to prioritize projects for self and others with good business acumenExtreme curiosity to learn about the product/industry and our customers’ businessesWork a flexible schedule – this role will entail being physically present to manage work during the Night Shift (5:30 pm to 2:30 am), on-site at our HSR, Bangalore office. As well as digital presence during off hours as needed to coordinate with our round-the-clock operationsAbility to pull data from databases (using Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data management systems) is a plus The role is full-time and comes with full benefits. We are globally headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with our India headquarters in Bengaluru.
