The Impact You’ll Have
We are looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships to own the growth of our partner ecosystem, from cloud partnerships to technology partners and other ISVs/MSPs/GSIs. In this role, you will grow and manage partner programs by understanding partners’ propositions, markets, business challenges, and customer opportunities. You will be responsible for building multi-level relationships with partners from the executive level to developers. In tandem with marketing and sales, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality leads by working collaboratively with new and existing partners. You’ll make a significant impact from day one and have the ability to accelerate our growth strategy.
This role requires excellent leadership skills, relationship-building, business acumen, and technical understanding. You must be able to work with and motivate highly technical partners, as well as numerous internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering. You will report to the VP of Sales and align your program's goals and initiatives with those of the company and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy from go-to-market to product integrations, working closely with Gretel’s founders and VP of Sales to inform the strategy and manage the execution plan
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, product, and ecosystem, and partner with internal stakeholders on work plans, product roadmap, and lead generation objectives
- Lead the management of existing Cloud Partnerships, including Google Cloud (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, and NVIDIA and improve outcomes while identifying, evaluating, and engaging new partners
- Develop, negotiate, and nurture relationships with Independent Service Vendors Partner with Gretel marketing and our partners' marketing teams to create lead generation campaigns, onboarding documentation, and go-to-market content
- Identify and partner with ISVs to broaden the reach of Gretel’s products and services
- Develop processes to track and improve partner engagement, revenue, and integration adoption
- Partner with finance and product to establish a revenue recognition and attribution processes
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and guide decision-making processes
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technology and data partnerships
- Clear communicator with an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders, from C-level, to sales teams, to developers
- History of driving revenue and managing projects in a high-growth, rapidly evolving organization
- Prior experience scaling a tech partner program (involving Cloud hyperscalers and other Cloud-native ISVs), with marked increase in revenue and retention within the Cloud computing or AI industries
- Demonstrated experience working with a highly technical product and audiences; clear communication and the ability to quickly establish credibility with executive-level and individual contributors alike
- Data-driven and capable of tracking and presenting results clearly
Nice To Have
- Experience owning partnership relationships with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Computer Science or Engineering degree; MBA preferred
- Experience working hands-on with machine learning products and/or tooling as an applied scientist or data scientist
- Subject matter expert (SME) in MLOps and workflows preferred
- Legal background or contract and negotiation experience

Compensation
Employee compensation will be determined based on interview performance, level of experience, specialization of skills, and market rate. During the offer discussion, your recruiter will review the finalized base salary, bonus (for applicable roles), benefits and perks (additional information available on our career site), and stock options as they’ll be reflected in the offer letter.
Employees hired in the U.S. and Canada can expect the below information to reflect a reasonable estimate of the salary offered for this role. Salary ranges are updated regularly using premium market data. (Please note: it is unusual for new hires to receive a base salary at the top of the range. Additionally, the value of Gretel.ai’s stock options is not included in the salary bands and may represent a significant portion of your compensation.)
