Role 

As Harvey’s first New York Office Operations Manager, you will support the opening and maintenance of our first New York office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, and managing local office events and programs. You will own the employee office experience, all while working effectively with internal stakeholders and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Support a smooth transition from a temporary workspace to a permanent office location in NYC
  • Partner closely with IT and People to ensure new employees are on boarded smoothly and have proper access to Harvey facilities
  • Oversee facility management, including space planning, maintenance, and office improvements
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Own all communications to New York office employees on New York-based office events, changes, and operations
  • Support ad hoc projects and administrative needs of New York executives

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience managing an office of 100+ employees
  • Demonstrated track record in effective facility management, event planning, and vendor relations
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction from leadership
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and proactively manage projects to completion
  • Understanding and knowledge of New York City building maintenance and regulations

Compensation

In consideration of market analysis and relevant factors, the salary range for this position is set between $85,000 and $110,000. However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. Benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO.
