Inworld AI is funded by top-tier investors, including Kleiner Perkins, Intel, Microsoft, and Founders Fund, and a team of all-star angels - corporate executives, top VC funds' partners, and industry veterans from Riot Games, Twitch, and Oculus.

We are looking for a seasoned operations leader who will oversee day-to-day operations, including finance, people operations, performance optimization, and other key operational areas. As a Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in addressing business challenges and ensuring that our company runs smoothly while we scale rapidly. 

• Partner closely with our leadership team to align operational strategies with the company’s overall vision and goals.

• Develop and manage budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts, as well as report on KPIs and success metrics.

• Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and contractors.

• Establish and maintain a strong company culture that promotes collaboration and innovation.

• Oversee people operations, including employee relations, retention, employee engagement, and professional development.

• Develop and maintain an effective risk management strategy.

• Assist the executive team with Board of Director communications and activities, including developing board meeting agendas, board decks, presentations, and addressing other related needs.

• Work with General Counsel to formulate policies in compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Manage a relationship with a Canadian entity.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience as a Director of Operations, Operations Manager, or a similar leadership role, preferably in a technology startup environment.

• Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving outstanding operational performance.

• Strong leadership, communication and prioritization skills, with an ability to manage multiple important projects in parallel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

• Ability to build high-quality slide decks and financial models with minimal guidance or supervision.

• Experience managing budgets and financial forecasts.

• Experience in fostering a positive company culture and driving employee engagement.

• Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to navigate in ambiguous and dynamically changing environments.

This is a hybrid position based at our Mountain View office and will require you to be in the SF Bay Area. 

The salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $200,000. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including competencies and experience.
