We are seeking a Head of Sales & BD who is passionate about AI, games, and virtual worlds and enjoys the challenges and excitement of a high-growth startup environment. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, foster relationships with key gaming partners, and drive revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and process to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
• Grow and lead the entire sales and business development function, including personally engaging in the sales process, setting sales targets, managing pipeline and forecasting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, leveraging industry contacts and networks to identify and pursue revenue opportunities across the gaming and technology industries.
• Identify, evaluate and close potential business opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing and creative to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Passion for AI, gaming and all things interactive.
• Proven track record of closing key accounts and delivering revenue growth.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• 7-8 years of experience in sales and business development, or related roles preferably in the gaming or technology industries.
• Proficient with CRM.
• Experience setting targets and KPIs. 
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and develop actionable business plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

This is a hybrid position based at our Mountain View office and will require you to be in the SF Bay Area.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $250,000. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, level, and additional factors, including competencies, experience, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
