Inventory Control Specialist

*Note: This position requires presence in our San Jose Headquarters 5 days per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the input, maintenance, and accuracy of data within our ERP system, ensuring accurate records of inventory levels and stock movement, as well as identifying discrepancies
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with established company standards
  • Request and support regular cycle counts of physical inventory to reconcile system data for physical stock
  • Generate reports for inventory and data integrity performance, highlighting areas for improvement
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records by executing proper transactions or escalating to the appropriate owner of the transaction(s) to determine best solution
  • Work closely with warehouse logistics, operations and accounting teams to streamline processes and minimize inventory issues and discrepancies
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement within our ERP system

You

  • Have proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist, ERP data controller or have been in a similar role
  • Have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
  • Have in-depth experience and understanding of ERP systems and their functionalities
  • Are proficient in MS Excel or Google spreadsheets
  • Are committed to maintaining high levels of data accuracy
  • Have excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Are an effective communicator and can collaborate with other teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the machine learning or computer hardware industry
  • Experience or understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite
  • SAP (or equivalent) superuser and/or hands on experience launching ERP system

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $76,680-$109,080. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
