IT Engineer

*Note: This position requires presence in our San Jose Headquarters 5 days per week.

What You’ll Do 

• Configure and manage Mac and PC computers using Jamf and other RMM tools
• Manage cloud-based applications, services, permissions, and accounts
• Onboard and offboard users
• Work on various IT security projects. On some projects you will work with a small team and on others you will work mostly solo.
• Maintain network and server infrastructure
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Assist users with general helpdesk inquiries
• Research and recommend new technologies
• Help build our IT infrastructure from the ground up

You 

• Have extensive experience deploying, configuring, and managing client computers with Jamf
• Experienced supporting users in a remote-first environment
• Experienced managing IT projects from start to finish
• Experienced managing many cloud based applications
• Google Workspace management experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with network protocols and tools like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment

Nice to Have 

• Okta admin experience
• RMM solutions for PC computers
• Ubuntu Linux experience
• Experience with Meraki firewall, switch and wireless access points
• Familiarity with the CIS Framework

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $80,000-$140,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
