*Note: This position requires presence in our San Francisco office location 4 days per week. Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.
What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to help our marketing team make informed decisions. You will play a key role in measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns, identifying trends and opportunities, and providing actionable insights that drive our marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience with marketing analytics tools, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise reports.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms, SFDC and Marketing Automation systems) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Campaign Performance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across different channels, providing recommendations for optimization based on data-driven insights.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as ROAS, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value.
- A/B Testing: Help peers Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to determine the most effective marketing strategies and tactics.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of marketing data by implementing and maintaining data quality standards. Engage with the Engineering and Business Systems groups to get the features that will increase precision on the Marketing end.
You
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a similar role.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Data analysis toolset: SQL is a must have; Python a plus. Other: Google Sheets, Excel, Google Analytics, Funnel.io, BigQuery, Heap.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, SFDC reports) to create clear and actionable reports.
- Experience with marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, SFDC and Marketing Automation systems). Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $112,000 - $162,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
