Recruiting Coordinator Lead

*Note: This position requires presence in our San Francisco office 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.

What You’ll Do 

  • Coordinate interview schedules and other interviews for candidates and recruiters as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments such as HR, hiring managers, and finance to ensure alignment and coordination in recruitment efforts
  • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders across the organization regarding recruitment coordination matters
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring managers and provide support throughout the recruitment process
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of recruiting coordinators that you build out
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the Recruiting Coordinating team and ensure they are achieved
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to provide feedback and address any issues
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize recruiting coordination processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the recruitment coordination process
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns as they arise
  • Oversee the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all candidates
  • Lead special projects or initiatives related to recruitment coordination, such as implementing a new applicant tracking system or launching a campus recruitment program
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks of recruitment coordination activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with established processes and standards
  • Implement corrective actions or improvements as needed to address any issues or discrepancies identified during quality assurance checks
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to quality and accuracy and take proactive measures to maintain high standards

You

  • Have at least 4-5 years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator in a high-volume, high-paced work environment  
  • Have demonstrated ATS experience
  • Enjoy building cross-departmental relationships and leveraging those relationships to further Recruiting Team goals
  • Have experience setting goals with and providing constructive feedback to teammates
  • Are comfortable working in dynamic work environments
  • Enjoy self-starting projects and are able to delegate work to others
  • Are able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with teammates, stakeholders, and candidates
  • Have strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Enjoy using your keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in recruitment coordination activities such as scheduling interviews, managing candidate data, and coordinating logistics
  • Pride yourself on your strong problem-solving skills and use them to identify issues or blockers in recruitment processes and develop effective solutions to address them
  • Are flexible and able to navigate changing priorities, unexpected challenges, and evolving recruitment needs
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to providing an exceptional candidate experience and delivering high-quality service to candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Comfort with generating data-driven reports (time to schedule, time to hire, etc) 
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Experience working at a start-up
  • Experience in the machine learning or computer hardware industry

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
