About the Role

As Lambda's Technical Product Manager you will be responsible for executing against Lambda’s GPU cloud roadmap. Every cloud feature requires close coordination between software development and hardware infrastructure engineering so you will be expected to work across both of these disciplines. 

What You’ll Do

  • Become an expert on Lambda’s cloud customers and be their voice within Lambda
    • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
    • Read between the lines to build a car, not a faster horse
    • Define success and product acceptance criteria based on customer insights
  • Work with internal teams to execute and deliver on product roadmap 
    • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation
    • Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations
    • Make trade-offs during development in collaboration with engineering teams
    • Coordinate internal and external beta testing to gather product feedback
    • Collaborate with go-to-market teams like sales, support, and marketing to bring new features and products to market
  • Monitor product performance and product lifecycle
    • Identify relevant success and product performance metrics 
    • Build monitoring dashboards using data from across different platforms
    • Translate metrics into actionable insights to drive growth and make product lifecycle management decisions
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and process creation 
    • Conduct market research and build business cases to prioritize efforts on the roadmap
    • Create, iterate, and enforce product management and delivery processes
  • Keep up with market trends and competitive landscape
    • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general
    • Assess emerging technologies, products, and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products

You

  • Proven track record of developing a deep understanding of customers and translating that into:
    • Feature gaps/improvements
    • Partnership opportunities
    • Competitive insights
  • Curious, driven, and possess the ability to dive deep and ask probing questions
  • Working knowledge of computer science, software development, and/or engineering
  • Strong communication skills in both technical and business settings
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, CS, IT, or related experience
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a product development role such as software engineering or other technical positions
  • Minimum 5 years experience in product management (cloud infrastructure preferred)
  • Total minimum of 6-7 years of experience

Nice to Have 

  • Experience in the machine learning or computer hardware industry
  • Business background
  • SQL or Tableau experience

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $150,000-$205,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
