Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role:
- Designing and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions for our large language model engine, including front-end and back-end components.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams of machine learning engineers, system engineers, designers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Building and maintaining robust APIs and microservices to enable seamless integration of our language model into various applications and platforms.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the software components.
- Optimizing software performance and scalability through continuous improvement and refactoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 + years of solid experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, with experiences building a software product from end to end, preferably working on complex web applications or AI-related projects.
- Prior experience as a founder or founding engineer at a technology startup is highly valued
- Advanced knowledge of front-end languages including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
- Proficient in back-end languages including Java, Python.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database systems like SQL and NoSQL, and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
