Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Overview:

We are looking to hire a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for building and managing highly available, distributed systems. Our platform runs on a hybrid environment: global data centers, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. The technologies employed by our stack include but are not limited to AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vault, Consul, Chef, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, HAProxy, Pulsar, Zookeeper, Jenkins, Rundeck, Java.

You will report to the Director of SRE.

You will:

• Ensure product high uptime and reliability 24x7.
• Design, integrate, and drive the infrastructure, tools, and production deployment.
• Automate the management of product deployment, tools, and infrastructure.
• Manage our data centers, cloud infrastructure (GCP and AWS) along with Kubernetes platform.
• Manage product and infrastructure observability with dashboards, monitoring, and alerting.
• Provide self-service access for engineering teams to create, deploy and access infrastructure.
• Implement solutions to comply with regulations like EU GDPR, SOC, HIPAA, PCI, etc.

You have:

 2+ years of experience as SRE / Devops and track record managing cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

• BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive hands-on scripting experience and demonstrated proficiency in Python, Javascript and/or Bash, as well as with experience Terraform, Chef, and/ or Ansible.
• Strong proficiency in one or more of the areas of Linux system administration, networking, or security.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical ownership and establish best practices in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
