Head of Recruiting

Moonhub is looking for an experienced Head of Recruiting to lead our full desk, agency-model recruiting team. The recruiting team is responsible for leading the core technical recruiting team as well as active and past client management and engagement. We are looking for a leader to leverage his/her experiences in full-desk recruiting to craft a world-class recruiting team.

You will lead your own P&L and team of recruiters, be responsible for growing the org, and have ownership over revenue targets and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with sales, customer success, and marketing functions to establish scalable solutions to serve our customers.

Moonhub is a remote-first company and we have quarterly off-sites together along with local meetups.

 

- Team Building: Hire and manage a world-class recruiting team with ambitious quarterly targets

- Management: Establish and reliably meet monthly + quarterly + annual OKRS and revenue targets

- Process: Build scalable recruiting and client management strategies and solutions. Create workflow and processes for full-desk recruiting and client management 

- Account Growth: Work closely with sales and customer success to sustainably grow clients and JDs

- Recruiting: Utilize our internal AI systems and technology to quickly source, match, and develop candidates

- Culture: Focus on building a culture of excellence and collaboration

- Product: Contribute product innovation ideas for engineering

- Work closely with the exec team to bring in new client accounts

- Wear multiple hats between strategic, tactical, and operational recruiting as we grow Moonhub

- Establish relationships with new and existing clients surrounding recruiting needs

Must Haves

- 7+ years of recruiting experience (4+ years of experience with recruiting for engineering and product roles)

- Experience leading talent acquisition, sourcing, or agency team(s) over the past 2+ years

- Willing to work both in IC and leadership capacity (not afraid to get hands dirty)

- Strong operational knowledge of recruiting tech stack

- Expert experience in team performance tracking

- Passionate about startups

- Record of building teams with a high degree of ownership

- Team player

- A strong culture fit with rest of the team + company

- Worked in a startup environment previously or with startup clients

- Industry + operational knowledge on sales + marketing

- Experience working in a recruiting agency or similar

- Strong personal brand and network

- The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 in the US

- The total expected compensation range for this position is $180,000+

- This position is eligible for significant equity and bonuses
