Director, Human Resources

Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the organization, including but not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. The Director of Human Resources will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives.This position is based in Bangalore and requires onsite presence.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Partner and provide expert coaching and consulting advice to executive leaders to drive a high performing culture
  • Design and apply change management and Organizational development strategies that influences organizational change in support of business strategies
  • Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning, and other talent development and retention activities
  • Drive rollout plans for India-wide HR initiatives with client groups
  • Grow manager capability through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues, partnering with Employee Relations and Legal.
  • Analyze trends and metrics, and collaborate with HR functional experts to develop solutions, make recommendations, and develop programs.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including counseling, discipline, and termination
  • Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary surveys, performance evaluations, and bonus programs
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs
  • Manage HR-related administrative functions, including record-keeping, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues
  • Maintain positive employee relations and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Thorough knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives
  • Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and compensation and benefits programs
  • Experience managing HR-related administrative functions, including record-keeping and payroll
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
