About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Corporate Finance to serve as the dedicated finance business partner for our Strategy organization, which includes a diverse set of functions including our Policy and Legal teams. You will be a key partner to the leadership team and provide analytical decision-making support. 

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Be the primary finance advisor to the Strategy organization’s leaders and help shape and influence key strategic and operational decisions (e.g., new compliance programs, litigation strategy, policy rollouts).
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting for the Strategy org, driving discipline in resource allocation and spend management.
  • Build robust financial models to project costs, headcount, and ROI for policy and legal projects, and translate complex data into actionable insights. 
  • Help define and track key metrics (e.g., operational efficiency metrics, risk indicators) and build dashboards/scorecards to drive data-informed discussions.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment on strategic initiatives and seamless integration of finance processes.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or related fields (such as management consulting or business operations). 
  • A track record of driving financial planning and analysis in a high-growth and ambiguous environment, preferably with exposure to General & Administrative functions (e.g. Legal, Policy, Compliance).
  • A proven ability to build complex financial models and integrated forecasts from scratch, and develop new analytical frameworks to tackle unstructured problems. 
  • Prior people-management experience.
  • Strong Excel skills (required). Experience with SQL, Tableau, or other BI tools for extracting and visualizing data is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities, including experience crafting clear, compelling narratives and financial decks for senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion under tight timelines, competing priorities, and independently deliver high-quality results.
  • Intellectual curiosity about the evolving AI policy and regulatory environment, with a continuous drive to improve processes and personal capabilities.
