Frontend Staff Software Engineer (f/m/d)*

As a Frontend Staff Software Engineer (f/m/d)* for our Product Solution domain, you will have the opportunity to develop the strategy and support our mission to revolutionize the contact center industry. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-team environment that values diversity of thought and innovation.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for your domain.
  • Influence architectural decisions and ensure alignment with company-wide goals.
  • Drive initiatives to improve engineering efficiency, scale, and performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Identify and address gaps in front-end solutions across the organization.
  • Advocate for best practices in design, quality, security, and availability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, observability, and reliability.
  • Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure high service quality.
  • Act as a technical leader, mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge across the company.
  • Foster a culture of learning and growth within the engineering organization.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Proven track record as a Staff Software Engineer with +4 years of experience.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and operating high-performance, low-latency software systems for real-time processing and streaming data.
  • Deep proficiency in React, NextJS, and TypeScript, with a focus on architecting scalable, maintainable, and testable solutions.
  • Strong foundation in front-end technologies, including HTML, SCSS, and a commitment to accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of API design principles (RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL) for efficient and scalable data flow solutions.
  • Mastery of testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Playwright/Cypress, react-testing-library, jest/vitest) within a test-driven development environment.
  • Deep understanding of how product analytics can drive user-centric insights and create business value.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, agile environments, consistently delivering high-quality, scalable code while driving impactful projects to successful completion.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills, effectively communicating and working seamlessly across cross-functional teams to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Passionate about mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth within the team.
  • Proactively drives technical excellence, continuously learning and inspiring others to improve their skills and deliver impactful solutions.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with composable microservice architecture and micro frontends
  • Experience developing Component Libraries in multi-team environments
  • Experience deploying multi-region frontend applications (CDNs etc)
  • Experience in building backend APIs (express/nextjs/fastapi, etc.)
