Senior Defensive Security Engineer (f/m/d)*
YOUR MISSION:
As a Senior Defensive Security Engineer (f/m/d)* at Parloa, you will be making a significant impact by enhancing our security posture. This includes designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures while also establishing and ensuring organization-wide compliance with government and industry standards.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Operate and enhance our Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM)
- Optimize our security posture by hardening our cloud-based infrastructure, based on security best practices and industry benchmarks
- Participate in security incident responses and remediate threats
- Provide technical advice to team members and other departments on security-related matters
- Support our commercial department with assessments and security questionnaires
- Establish a security aware culture at Parloa’s organization
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Minimum of 5+ years of working experience as an Information Security professional with hands-on experience
- In-depth knowledge of security tools, technologies, and methods
- Strong experience in SIEM systems
- Expert knowledge of containerized and virtualization technologies
- Experience in using EDR solutions
- First experience with compliance and privacy standards
- Proven experience with Security Incident Response
- Strong analytical thinking and fast situational comprehension to remediate incidents
- Track record in securing complex cloud environments
- Expert knowledge of industry best practices benchmarks, norms, and frameworks
- Experience with securing and operating an Identity and Access Management
- Strong team-mentality with excellent interpersonal skills for technical communication, both written and verbal
- Robust problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and attention to detail
