Senior Machine Learning Engineer - ML Ops Platform (f/m/d)*
YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Language Platform (f/m/d)*, you will build, scale and improve Parloa’s platform to evaluate and fine-tune machine learning models required to extend Parloa to new languages. As a member of our AI & Data Science team, you will take ownership of models for speech-to-text, entity recognition and translation. You will ensure our models generate high quality data for our generative AI, NLU and real-time translation products. You will work closely with product teams to help them solve customer problems with machine learning and AI. You will leverage cutting edge technologies to keep sharpening Parloa’s competitive edge to transform the entire customer service industry with AI.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Develop a platform to automate the evaluation and fine-tuning of our language models (speech to text, entity recognition, translation, anonymization)
- Execute machine learning projects end-to-end: understanding user-facing requirements, data gathering and transformation, exploratory data analysis, model productionization, maintenance and support, continuous improvement
- Work closely with data platform and product engineers to shape our technical product vision and strategy to make Parloa internationally scalable
- Build and improve our ML platform (ML / LLM Ops) in collaboration with data platform and DevOps
Our Tech stack (Data): Microsoft Azure, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB, Redis (more technologies will added as we build our data and Machine Learning platforms)
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 7+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer, 3+ years of experience in ML Operations or data platform engineering
- Strong engineering background and experience in machine learning operations
- Strong proficiency in Python, proficiency with SQL
- Experience with owning the ML process end-to-end: translating product requirements into technical requirements, data gathering/transformation and exploration, model productionization, maintenance, monitoring and optimization
- Experience working with text/voice data
- Experience in leading medium-sized technical projects (3-9 months roadmap)
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English
