Head of Growth

Perplexity is revolutionizing how people discover information with our real-time AI-powered answer engine. To turbocharge our strong organic growth, we are looking for an experienced and highly entrepreneurial Head of Growth. You will be responsible for leading growth product development for Perplexity in conjunction with creating our acquisition marketing, email marketing, referral, affiliate, and field marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional skills across growth product management, marketing execution, content creation, and data analytics. A strong track record in growing consumer internet products is a must along with a willingness to quickly experiment and “do the work."
Responsibilities
  • Lead development of core growth products and features that promote organic user growth.
  • Drive all user acquisition and conversion optimization initiatives.
  • Lead and execute all marketing initiatives focused on user acquisition, utilizing various channels including paid media.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive referral and affiliate programs to increase brand reach and customer base.
  • Drive the email marketing strategy, tailored for both user acquisition and retention, to optimize the customer lifecycle.
  • Qualifications
  • Experience in product management & growth marketing, rooted in world-class writing and analytical skills.
  • A proven track record of success in roles requiring the management of growth initiatives.
  • Energetic self-starter with an independent work ethic, ready to take the lead on tasks with optimism and ownership.
  • Passionate about fast-paced execution and comfortable with rapid experimentation to drive growth.
  • Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
