Job Summary

Phantom AI is currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, California. As a member of our System Validation Team, you will build software to ensure that our products meet our high standards for safety and performance. You will need to think broadly, connecting ideas across multiple domains: software design, machine learning, data science, and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop evaluation tools and visualizers
• Increase performance and scalability of existing vision system evaluation/simulation tools
• Design and build infrastructure to support our validation process, such as data collection, processing, simulation, and evaluation
• Help set up the cars with new software and hardware if needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing large-scale software or data infrastructure
• Strong Python and/or C++ programming skills
• Experience with system & framework design and version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of Network, Linux-based command line, Bash scripting, and debugging
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with ROS(ROS 2) or OpenCV.
• Familiar with QT5 (or other front-end engineering skills) 
• Experience in the field of ADAS/Computer Vision/Autonomous Driving/Robotics

Work Type

Hybrid - Phantom AI follows this type of working experience to allow employees the flexibility to work weekly at the office 2x and from home 3x.
