What You'll Be Doing:
- Support audit and compliance efforts related to SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulations.
- Manage and optimize Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes to ensure secure access to systems and data.
- Administer, tune, and enhance security tools such as SIEM, XDR, IDS, CASB, IdP, etc.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to enhance security operations efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Conduct continuous monitoring and risk assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential security threats.
- Respond to client and partner security questionnaires, and conduct gap analysis and remediation efforts as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security best practices across the organization.
Who We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 2 years in the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience with healthcare software applications and systems.
- Active relevant certification such as CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or Security+.
- Demonstrated experience in SOC 2 or HITRUST audits.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
Nice to Haves:
- Expertise in cloud security solutions, particularly AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and experience with automation tools for security tasks.
- Practical knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Project management experience.
