Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years in QA testing, with a strong focus on audio driver testing, Windows and Linux environments.Audio Expertise: In-depth knowledge of audio drivers, audio quality testing, and headsetcompatibility testing across different hardware and software environments.Codec Proficiency: Strong understanding of various audio codecs (e.g., AAC, SBC, Opus, and aptX) and their behavior in different scenarios.Headset Testing: Extensive experience testing various headsets for audio quality, latency, and compatibility, including wired and Bluetooth devices.Audio Quality Testing: Familiarity with subjective and objective methods for testing audio clarity, volume levels, and latency.Performance Testing: Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies for audio applications in Windows and Linux environments.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolvingaudio-related issues Responsibilities
Audio Driver Testing: Validate and test audio drivers on Windows and Linux platforms. Identify and troubleshoot audio driver issues, including installation, compatibility, and performance.
Audio Quality and Headset Testing Test and validate various headsets for optimal audio quality, including latency, noise cancellation, and compatibility. Ensure compatibility and performance of audio systems across different codec configurations. Perform audio quality assessments using objective measurement tools and subjective listening tests.
Functional Testing:Conduct thorough testing of AI-based applications that integrate audio components across Windows, Linux, and web environments.Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
Performance Testing on Windows & Linux:Assess and optimize audio application performance and stability.Identify performance bottlenecks related to audio processing and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Windows, Linux & System-Level Testing:Execute Linux commands for log analysis and troubleshooting audio driver issues.Verify application behavior and compatibility across audio systems on Windows and Linux platforms.
Defect Management:Identify, document, and track defects related to audio systems.Ensure defects are resolved and validated before production releases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with developers, audio engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.Ensure effective communication of audio-related testing requirements and updatesConduct thorough testing of AI-based applications that integrate audio components across Windows, Linux, and web environments.Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
