About the Role:
As the Workspace Operations and Events Lead, you'll be in charge of making sure our office spaces are managed efficiently, keeping costs in check, and meeting safety standards. Your work will boost productivity by keeping everything organized and improving the experience for both employees and guests. You'll also get to plan and run internal events that bring people together, strengthen our company culture, and keep everyone engaged. Your goal is to make sure these events are well-organized, budget-friendly, and aligned with our goals, offering chances for networking, learning, and celebrating to keep morale high and productivity up.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the planning and execution of internal events, including company-wide offsite events and virtual events.
- Manage all aspects of swag management, including design, inventory, and distribution.
- Develop and maintain the events budget, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.
- Strategize and coordinate onsite guest visits, including scheduling and hospitality arrangements.
- Manage the internal events calendar to ensure coordination and avoid conflicts.
- Oversee the management of our real estate and collaborative workspaces.
- Review lease agreements and ensure compliance with terms.
- Maintain office upkeep, including managing snacks, vendors, mail, and business cards.
- Develop and publish visitor guidelines for all SAQ locations to ensure a smooth visitor experience.
- Manage the workspace budget to optimize resources and control costs effectively.
About You:
- Experience in event planning and workspace management, with a minimum of 2 years in each field.
- Worked in at least one startup environment.
- Strong administration skills with the ability to wear multiple hats.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events as needed.
- Required to work full time onsite in our Palo Alto office.
- Occasional travel as needed.
- Fixed-Term role.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $117k - $204k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
